The Power of Rome

Program Overview:

Spend the first spring break of your college career exploring the Ancient wonders of Rome .Rome is famous for its art, architecture, cultural heritage, and the major role she played in Ancient World,thquote_ ravennaae rise of Christiianity and the Renaissance. The city is well renowned for its artists, Michelangelo, Bernini, and Raphael, political and military leaders such as Julius Caesar, Marcus Aurelius and religious leaders Peter and Paul.
Join your classmates in the classroom while immersing in philosophy, art and culture. Then experience the legacy of these famous men when you travel to Rome to see its famous churches ,its ancient city,and museums. This fun and educational Global Learning experience will be a great culmination to your First Year Experience at Molloy!

Cost:

  • For Credit Option:
  • Tuition for 3 credits plus $1400.00 Global Learning Fee
  • Tuition for 6 credits plus $1000.00 Global Learning Fee
  • Tuition for 9 credits plus $550.00 Global Learning Fee

  • Non Credit Option: $2000.00

  • COM 213GL -  Intercultural Communications    T/Th - 10:40 -12:05 pm  
  • ENG 263GL -   Mythology and Legend       M/W - 1:50 - 3:15 pm  
  • One more course to be determined
  • or any level of Italian Language

Our unique program in Music Therapy is the only B.S. program on Long Island that is approved by the American Music Therapy Association. Molloy's Music Therapy program combines both music course work to develop your musicianship skills, and clinical experiences using music therapy for children and adults with special needs. Earn your bachelor of science while learning the necessary theoretical knowledge, practical techniques and clinical experience required to use music as a therapeutic modality with children and adults having special needs. The program culminates in an exciting clinical internship during your senior year to prepare your for real life work experience
