The Program
In 1998 a
relationship was established between the Molloy College Philosophy
Department and the Center for Applied Ethics of the University of Leuven,
Belgium. Molloy students who have completed their BA's in any field are
now eligible to apply to participate in a special one year Master's
program in Applied Ethics. Courses are offered in English and are
taught by Leuven faculty who are experts in their respective fields.
Participants in the
program can choose from one of the following areas of concentration: (1)
Social and Political Questions,(2) Economics and Business, (3)
Biomedical and Health Care Issues, (4) Family and Partner Relations, and
(5) Science/Technology/Environmental Issues.

information about this program click here.
Program Costs
Because the program is
subsidized by the Belgian government, tuition is only about $900. It is
estimated that living expenses in Leuven for the year will average
approximately $8,000-9,000 depending on how much traveling you plan to
do while in Europe. Round-trip airfare to Belgium is approximately
$500-800.
