Student Affairs
To enrich the college experience and to help students develop to their fullest potential emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually, the college makes possible participation in a variety of co-curricular activities and organizations. The most important of these organizations is the Molloy Student Association (MSA) whose membership includes the entire student body. The executive power of this association rests with the Molloy Student Government (MSG) whose members are elected from the general student body and whose jurisdiction extends to all other student organizations on campus. By joining the Molloy Community, each student signifies an agreement to uphold the goals and philosophy of the college. The Administration of the college strongly supports the MSA, which makes possible, by membership and/or leadership, many campus organizations and clubs.
The Vice President for Student Affairs, in conjunction with a staff of full-time personnel, serves and challenges Molloy students to develop as whole persons. The Vice President for Student Affairs, Health Services Nurses, Career Development Center, Director of Campus Life, Director of Athletics, Coordinator of Student Publications and the Student Assistance Program are easily accessible to all students.

Health Services
Health Services are available to any student who is in need of assistance.* Treatment of minor ailments, emergency first aid, health counseling and support and referral to outside agencies are given when necessary.
Information for healthier life styles is provided through specific health programs. Drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs, AIDS education, stress reduction workshops, support groups and other health related lectures are offered every semester for all members of the Molloy community.
As mandated by New York State Public Health Law #2165, undergraduate and graduate students are required to demonstrate proof of immunity to measles, mumps and rubella. New York State Public Health Law #2167 requires the college to distribute information to all students about meningococcal disease and the availability of vaccination. The immunization records and acknowledgement form concerning meningitis must be presented before registration.
*Molloy College has arranged to make available a Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan. Enrollment in this plan is mandatory unless a student elects to waive coverage. Students must complete the waiver form, available at the Bursar Office or downloadable from the Molloy website and provide proof of comparable coverage. Waiver notifications must be filed by the October 1 each Fall to avoid the annual charge. All full-time students of Molloy College are automatically charged for this coverage. Part-time students with at least 6 credits can request enrollment in the insurance plan. Part-time students who wish to participate in the plan must obtain an Enrollment Card from the College Health Services Office.
College Athletes may not waive the health insurance.
